
The United Nations declared 15th July as World Youth Skills Day, to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work, and entrepreneurship.
The Sirius Project highlighted how equipping young migrants with skills means not only fostering migrants’ access to new skills but also the recognition of their existing skills. In fact, the lack of recognition of MRAs’ existing skills and certification jeopardises their access to employment and entrepreneurship.
