Sirius team members Francesca Calò, Tom Montgomery and Simone Baglioni have just published a paper in the Journal of Social Policy discussing shortcomings of the UK active labour market policies for refugees and asylum seekers. The paper offers a critical analysis of the deservingness rhetoric and policy making with the actual conditions of migrants seeking employment in the United Kingdom. It is based on Sirius fieldwork: our project still speaks about policies with its evidence based approach.
