
Today, we would like to share with you this important announcement for the workshop "Datafication of boarders and migration".
CERC Migration, Tampere University and Utrecht University are the main organizers and will present relevant topics and information about the use of digital technologies and data systems on May 25th at 09.30 (EDT) in hybrid form.
What's the role of digital technologies in the management of migrations and borders? This is the main question around which the workshop will be developed. The increasing use of them to surveil, control and manage migration, shifting the balance in the humanitarianism-securitization nexus will be discussed by participants.
